The “gas crisis” will likely be over by the month’s end. The Mideast crisis is the direct result of Trump’s full-throat backing of Netanyahu’s rejection of any compromise on Jerusalem. A single-month spike in inflation is not a crisis, and probably reflects the success of the COVID vaccinations program more than any economic phenomenon. And this whole riff is just the 2o’clock spin of Fox News today.

Gas crisis is about a private company getting hacked, not Biden.Mideast crisis has been going on for centuries; not Biden’s fault.Inflation has been predicted for years and was inevitable after years of stagnant growth.

Only a moron would believe any of this was Biden’s fault.

Goofy Gorrell blames the “gas crisis”, a private company owned infrastructure that was prey to ransomware, on Biden. Along with other things that are beyond his control. Fancy that coming from a guy that defended the man whose failures went beyond Nixon, Hoover, A. Johnson, and Buchanan in the depths of failure and corruption.

Like many presidents, Carter had issues out side of his control. However, the positives of Carter would be good for any president to emulate: Egypt-Israel peace treaty, human rights at the center of foreign policy (although at times applied unevenly), Panama Canal Treaty, first to recognize the impending climate crisis, legalized craft breweries, appointed more Black and women to federal judgeships than previous presidents (including Ruth Bader Ginsburg), conservation of large portions Alaskan land, and might have been the hardest working and knowledgeable president ever. So, yeah…Biden should “plagiarize” him.

Interesting how history gets reinterpreted by some. The point is not that these things are Biden’s fault, the point is he is busy ignoring them while pursuing other issues. The mask thing is a distraction, it should be optional at this point. Trying to spend another 2 trillion while inflation is rearing its ugly head is like pouring gas on a fire. Paying people to sit home while jobs go unfilled delays the recovery. Crime is soaring in our large cities. And pushing a divisive agenda like critical race theory is the direct opposite of what was promised during the campaign. Many voted for him thinking he would not be as divisive as Trump only to find out he is just as bad. The only difference between the two is what side they were on. At this point it doesn’t matter whose fault it is and much of it is nobody’s as they were caused by the virus. What matters is that we come together and work to solve them and Biden doesn’t seem any better at it than Trump was!

Again Gorrell plagiarizes himself, copy/pasting a Biden head on an old cartoon of Obama at a podium with a pointer next to a chart with hatching in the top left corner:

2nd time you called Biden a plagiarist:

are you telling me that Jared Kushner didn’t solve Israel?

you and the GOP like to point to Jimmy Carter as the ‘worst president in modern history,’ when your guy’s failed leadership led to the deaths of over half a million Americans, millions of jobs lost and businesses destroyed, and who incited an insurrection in an attempt to overturn an election he lost.

    Golly Whiz, Mr. Gorrell!

I guess you aren’t old enough to remember stagflation, under Nixon and Ford, or the fact that the Israeli-Arab conflict has been going on since 1948.

Gas-lines? Well, if one is so naive as to think that “Russian Criminal Gangs” are working independently of Tsar Vladimir Vladimirevitch there not much to be said, is there?

These are all problems that have been around longer than Biden – they were problems even before Carter took office… Republican administrations have not had any lasting effect on any of them, or else they’d already be solved, but of course Republicans should not be held accountable like Democrats should…

Biden’s big unique problem, as he came into office, is the pandemic and the economic woes it has caused. Carter’s was the Iran hostage crisis. Biden appears to be quite a bit more successful on his big unique problem than Carter was on his.

But Kushner and Trump brought peace to the middle east. Remember the demands for a Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts. What happened? Gas crisis as result of Russian actors; hmmm, guess that’s what happens when you stop kissing Putin’s rear end. Inflation: a result of four years of GOP economic policies and not four months of Biden economic policies still waiting to be passed. Go figure.

Mr Gorrell doesn’t know any more than the average bear about “inflation”. Recently, in a letter to the editor, the writer said “Whaddaya mean, there’s no ‘inflation’? The price of a pound of butter just went up $2 over a week ago!” And so it did. It went right back down a week or so after that, temporary shortage, no bearing on “core” inflation, which is where the real action is.

The reason old Joe always looks so “calm” is simple to understand. He only does what he is told to do and say. “I can’t answer that, I’ll get in trouble,” He is the president but someone else pulling his strings. The heavy progressive side of the DemocRats.
