I don’t even remember seeing carpeting in a kitchen. But these are the same dolts who said you had to rake a shag carpet before vacuuming it.

um, it may be fuzzy and soft and rather spongy, but that is definitely not carpet.

Our kitchen has carpeting in it. And it looks horrible. My mom had wanted to replace it with linoleum but has just never gotten around to it. Maybe eventually.

OK boomer.

Since the dawn of time.. we.. have changed the planet. No reason to blame this generation any more than the last 2~15 million. Besides that “next” generation kind of likes their bottled water.. iphones.. heat.. microwave ovens.. frozen food and elevators.

Carpet in the bathroom. Even worse.

And we had those boring tv shows and movies mostly devoid of any gratuitous sex, violence, and profanity…

Probably it was the silent generation or the greatest generation who decided carpet in the kitchen was a good idea. (Silent is the generation between boomer and greatest). Boomers were just kids.

They’re actually very green… for all the stuff that’s planted in that carpet!
