Yeah. She actually was pretty mild mannered, didn’t really push the issue, and (gasp) used nuance which of course is not something a GOPist can cope with.

As the liberals make no EFFECTIVE effort to counter evil fabrications/disinformation from the right-wing extremists, many are getting a badly distorted idea of what the US history/values truly are about.

South Korean president calls Trump failure who ‘beat around the bush’ on North Korea

If tensions between the United States and China intensify, North Korea can take advantage of it and capitalise on it’, says Moon Jae-in

South Korea’s president Moon Jae-in has criticised Donald Trump’s efforts to denuclearise the Korean Peninsula and said he “failed” in his diplomacy towards North Korea.

“He beat around the bush and failed to pull it through,” Mr Moon said about the former US president in an interview with the New York Times.

The South Korean president, who is scheduled to meet US president Joe Biden next month, said he hopes he would “go down as a historic” leader to have achieved substantive and irreversible progress on the stalled denuclearisation process.

Mr Moon said denuclearisation is a “matter of survival” for South Korea.

His statements come at the crucial time when the US president is scheduled to meet him next month and as Mr Moon serves his final year in office. The South Korean president helped broker two meetings between Mr Trump and North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un.

He criticised Mr Trump for failing to secure any long-term concessions from Pyongyang before pulling away from the second summit that was scheduled in Hanoi. The talks were stalled for almost two years and the two countries failed to reach an agreement on denuclearisation.

Mr Moon also said the deteriorating relations between China and America could possibly undermine the negotiations over denuclearisation.

‘He was a moron!’ Morning Joe panelists mock GOP’s John Kennedy for letting Stacey Abrams ‘mow him down’

“It was a really great example for anybody who sort of is figuring out, how do women develop their voices in this sea of how men do what they do,” Brzezinski said. “She was elegant, she was measured, she kept coming back, and she mowed him down without lifting a finger.”

“Why in the world does anybody keep underestimating this woman? she added. “If you think about it, if you think in the way she turned out the vote in Georgia, the way she turned out the vote saved our country, if you had any concern about [Donald] Trump. I mean, this woman is not to be messed with any way, shape or form, and he was acting as if he was dealing with some neophyte. He was condescending, he was arrogant, he was a moron.”

One deplorable motive drives most of the Republican Party’s behavior

Republican greed is why Americans can’t have nice things.

Every developed country in the world has some variation on a free or low-cost national healthcare system, and free or even subsidized higher education. In most developed countries homelessness is not a crisis, nobody goes bankrupt because somebody in their family got sick, and jobs pay well enough and have union pensions so people can retire after 30 or 40 years in the workforce and live comfortably for the rest of their lives.

But not in America. Republicans would never allow any of those things to happen.

The GOP stands atop an ocean of blood

Republicans in the Texas House of Representatives just passed a so-called “Constitutional Carry” law that would allow pretty much anybody over 21 to carry a gun, concealed or not, permitted or not, experienced or not.

Democrats offered an amendment that would’ve forbidden “domestic terrorists and white supremacists” from the gun-carrying “right,” but Republicans voted that down.

The whole “city on the hill” metaphor was meant to evoke a nation that others would want to emulate. Apparently we’re now there: Brazilian fascist strongman Jair Bolsonaro has proclaimed that he wants every Brazilian to have a gun “just like in America.”

Al Qaeda used to instruct terrorists to ram their cars into crowds — just like GOP bills now legalize

Oklahoma and Florida legislatures have legalized running a car into a crowd of people if one feels “threatened.” It’s being called a get-out-of-jail-free card for white supremacists and terrorists who want to commit murder during a Black Lives Matter rally.

New arrest shows Proud Boys engaged in ‘conspiracy involving terrorism’ during Jan. 6 riot

A Syracuse-based Proud Boy was indicted on seven counts related to his role in planning the Jan. 6 insurrection.

“According to the indictment, Mr. Greene and his co-conspirators intended to stop, delay, or hinder Congress’s certification of the Electoral College vote, ‘by force if necessary,’” said Special Agent in Charge Thomas Relford, from the FBI’s Albany office. “His actions were deliberate, dangerous and illegal. Now he must face the consequences.”

The indictment alleges Greene and the other Proud Boys were among the first Donald Trump supporters to gain entry to the Capitol, and video and photo evidence show he held a police shield stolen from an officer by Pezzola.

Prosecutors also say Greene sent an encrypted message to an associate asking about his well-being, saying, “I’m good, we took the capital.”

Greene appeared in court Tuesday on charges of obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding abetting, obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder and aiding and abetting, destruction of government property and aiding and abetting, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds, and disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds and aiding and abetting.

“It wasn’t until this supserseding indictment that the government formally aligned Pezzola’s actions — including spectacularly breaking that first window with a riot shield — with the rest of the Proud Boy indictments, in fact making them (as the government has already argued) the same conspiracy, a conspiracy involving terrorism,” she argued.

‘At least’ 100 more to be criminally charged for Capitol insurrection: Federal prosecutors

“The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol Attack will likely be one of the largest in American history, both in terms of the number of defendants prosecuted and the nature and volume of the evidence. Over 400 individuals have been charged in connection with the Capitol Attack. The investigation continues and the government expects that at least one hundred additional individuals will be charged,” prosecutors explained.

“While most of the cases have been brought against individual defendants, the government is also investigating conspiratorial activity that occurred prior to and on January 6, 2021,” prosecutors wrote. “The spectrum of crimes charged and under investigation in connection with the Capitol Attack includes (but is not limited to) trespass, engaging in disruptive or violent conduct in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds, destruction of government property, theft of government property, assaults on federal and local police officers, firearms offenses, civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, possession and use of destructive devices, and conspiracy.”

Defendants charged and under investigation come from throughout the United States, and a combined total of over 900 search warrants have been executed in almost all fifty states and the District of Columbia. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the response to the Capitol Attack.

The charges for each and every Judas and/or Benedict Arnold and/or Donald Trump who stormed the capitol should be: (1) treason. (2) treason. (3 until infinity) treason.

FBI Arrests 2 Trump Terrorists For Stabbing Police Officers In The Face With Flags

The FBI has arrested two more Trump terrorists in Dallas for hitting and jabbing police officers in the face with flags.

#Arrested: The FBI arrested Jalise and Mark Middleton at their home in Forestburg, TX for US Capitol riot on Jan. 6.

Court docs say they grabbed and hit multiple officers as flags were “jabbed” at officers’ faces.

The Dallas FBI has now made 22 arrests related to 1/6. (@wfaa) pic.twitter.com/gkAoKRCYk3

    — William Joy (@WilliamJoy) April 22, 2021

Hundreds upon hundreds of Trump terrorists who committed violent acts against police officers are continuing to be rounded up all across the country, arrested, and charged. Just because cable news has lost interest in the right-wing domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol, it doesn’t mean that the arrests have stopped.

Attorney General Merrick Garland is staying true to his word and making prosecutions of the insurrectionists a top priority.

Josh Hawley Disgracefully Votes Against Asian-American Hate Crimes Bill

The Senate has passed Sen. Maize Hirono’s bill criminalizing hate crimes against Asian-Americans, but Sen. Josh Hawley voted no.

As of publication, the Senate vote total was 94-1 with Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) voting against the bill. The passage was expected after the Senate voted 92-6 in favor of advancing the bill. The six no votes were all Republicans Senators several of whom have 2024 presidential ambitions.
