I believe I had heard about that Franciscan marriage. (How are the couple now?)

The Opportunity had better last longer than the average car. It cost about $400 million.

He married two male attendants? Very cool, but I didn’t think that was a catholic thing. Good for him in either case.

The Pope did not marry two men, nor would he have blessed such a marriage as the art indicates. He did officiate at the marriage of a male and a female flight attendants.

In a bold patriotic move Post Master General Louis DeJoy vowed to beat the Aussie’s record.

Former tRump Transportation Secretary, and wife of ‘Moscow’ Mitch McConnell, took the call informing her that the manufacturer’s vehicle warranty was coming to an end for the Mars Rover Opportunity. It is now covered by Carshield. So far Pete Buttigieg has not been successful in breaking the contract.

On his way to the restroom Pope Francis caught the couple in the ‘mile high club’ seats, and the rest is history.

    QUIT DELETING MY COMMENTS!

One time I found a message in a bottle 133 years after it was lost.

I thought popes weren’t allowed to be married.

May the Lord be with you.

I hope the message in the bottle wasn’t a plea for help.

Ok folks, time for a lesson.

The Pope can’t marry you. The Pope only performs a religious ceremony. He can do his little show, say his words (good words, I agree) but you are NOT legally married.

A marriage is a legal, binding contract between two people and the state which grants their marriage license. The couple has obligations to each other and to the state. The state likewise has its own obligation to the couple. A marriage is all about PROPERTY. We are forming a legal union, recognized by the state and agree to be bound by certain laws. This is why so many businesses (and governments) are dead set against same sex marriage, they don’t want to extend the property protections involved in a marriage to gay or lesbian couples.

The ceremony that the Pope (Bless his heart) performed has no legal substance. The couple in this case could get off the plane and each could sign a legal, binding marriage contract on the very same day and there would be no harm, no foul. Well, besides having dissed the Pope.

Interesting photo touchup. They removed the female flight attendant from the picture. Can we ever trust Ripley’s again? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-42736504
