Hooray for Gen. Sir John Monash, GCMG, KCB, VD, Aussie civil engineer who became commander of the Australian Corps (then the largest corps on the Western Front) during WW I. He’s considered one of the finest of the Allied generals, was very popular with his men, and is the most famous commander in Australian history.
A nice Jewish lad born in Melbourne, he helped lead his countrymen and the Allies to victory. He was decorated by the French, the Belgians, and the United States.

Must be ANZAC Day, not yet the official one hundredth anniversary of when the Ginger Meggs comic was first published.

Kinda weird way to publish it though. For me it is huge, and rotated 90 degrees.
Regardless, intense respect on ANZAC Day.
