    I would guess 80% of violent crimes are cold cases. I bet 90% of robbery are cold cases. I am a pessimist….

    Depends which country you live in. I live in South Africa where the vast majority of the population have been poorly educated due to the previous apartheid government. For them crime really does pay as the unemployment rate if very high and the pandemic has made that worse. :(
