In reading this, I have just realized that my mom was Vicki. As part of a biker gang, their wedding procession was in a carriage pulled by a pair of Harleys. Then she left for Niagara Falls on the back of Dad’s Indian. In her eulogy I commented that while growing up I never heard her say, “You can’t do that!” or “You’ll catch your death of cold!” She would simply remind me to wear a helmet or a scarf. She got her pilot’s license in her 60s.

How can you know it’s a boring part until you’ve gone through it?
