The first thing I noticed is the Doc chooses to wear actual hedgerows on his face. The second thing I noticed is that the Doc seems to have no eyes.

I was so distracted I had to peruse the strip a few times before Impossible’s goofy expression even registered.

It even took me a while to realize that Rip and the Highwayman actually agreed on something. Every time I got to the final frame I kept noticing that the Highwayman, even though he is uglier than an IRS audit on Christmas eve, is still not as odd looking as the MD.

If he thinks she’s a talking squirrel, does that mean that if he looked in a mirror, he’d think he’s Boris (not Natasha)?

Well, she’s got the squirrely part down.

Me Too? Oh no. What’d she do to you, Rip? What’d she do?!

But… But… Where’s the talking dog? I hopes Rip didn’t eats him thinking he’s a talking taco.

That mountain is almost as good as a full moon!!!

That was an anti-climatic ending. Though, I love the expression on Impossible’s face in panels 1 & 2.

Kind of an anticlimactic ending to this adventure, unless I’m missing something

The Highwayman used to be a badass. What happened to him.

The doctor is ka-hot, though.

It amuses me that when Dan gets into a tight spot in the storytelling … he just skips over it. :-)

I thought Vince Edwards in “Ben Casey, M.D.”….

At least the doctor is kind of cute, though…

In the first panel I thought that the doctor looked a little like Bruce Campbell

Somehow, I doubt we’ve seen the last of the Highwayman or Impossible Merryweather.
