this is the gull’s dream 24/7 entertainment of human mud fails.

A bit of an OT comment—I just noticed a “new” comic (began March 7th): https://www.gocomics.com/mtpleasant/2021/03/07 A couple of city kids and their cat go to live with their rural grandparents. Talking animals (and even people), reasonably friendly tone, and some zaniness. (Yes, I am doing this on various comics. You’re welcome!)

That’s a definitely deep sinkhole. Probably lost his pants and his boots also….

If you’ve ever got stuck in a mud hole that deep, you’re saying good bye to more then just your shoes. Lucky if your shirt makes it out with you. It sticks to you and the pressure pulls everything off as you try to get out. It’s awful. Good luck trying to fish any of it out either.

Under the circumstances, I think I would just wave goodbye to the boots.
