    I mentioned her in a science fiction short story I wrote which has been submitted for an anthology (no word yet on whether or not it was accepted). Unfortunately, she never taught a video lesson for children from space so I had to make up that part.

    I actually had read about her as part of the Endeavor crew – I was in school for that mission in ’87. I had no idea that she did show up on Star Trek though! A nice tip of the hat to people pushing the boundaries.
