BTW, I still think of it as Richard Nixon Day.

I remember an old New Yorker cartoon showing Abraham Lincoln asking his wife, “Mary, I keep forgetting—is February 12th my birthday or George Washington’s?”

It’s been a while since we saw anything from Brian…well it has been a quiet time, politically speaking.

I memoed my employees that we’d be closed on the federal holiday Washington’s Birthday but open on President’s Day. I wonder if anyone showed up at the office?

The Republican hero presidents, Lincoln and Eisenhower were liberals who wanted to free people and make workers lives better and rebuild the USA. They fought for the revolution to free humanity. Those long dead and buried people are just the opposite of today’s republican greedy lying election rigging mentally ill dictator worshiping party who appear to hate everything and everyone including themselves and do everything they can to stop the progress of humanity.

You put Chester Arthur on some currency and FDR will have no problem recalling his name.

As a quirky aside, in my grandparents’ chest of odds and ends from the Roaring ’20’s there was a cigarette holder like FDR’s, but the cigarette was inserted at a 90 degree perpendicular angle, so the cigarette pointed up like a pipe.

Can we get a special bill to exclude Twitler from any Presidents’ Day honors?
