Mystery solved!

I always wondered.

Been there, done that, and hit my back standing up….

Ouch! That will wake you up in a hurry!

I always took the top bunk in the Army. Didn’t care about bumping heads or backs, but did care about poorly controlled bodily functions (usually alcohol induced) of the other guy.

Hmmm, rain day, that meant we played in the basement. Cool chemistry set( taken away in a week, da), floor hockey, and building airplane models. If we were lucky, my friend’s mom would take us bowling, then to McDonalds. The hot apple pie always burned my mouth. Ha

Nope, that’s wrong

In my childhood, rainy days meant jigsaw puzzles and Monopoly games.

He fell out of bed and bumped his head.

Ask my wife why we removed the headboard.

We know what that’s like

Haven’t heard that one in awhile – and I don’t think I’ve ever heard the 2nd part!

I haven’t seen a bunk bed in a very long time.

You can bump your head on the headboard. Yes, many beds still have headboards. Hey, when you get to be my age, sometimes you can bump your head on your shoes getting into bed. (My bed’s on the floor.)

Red has answers for everything, lol!

iT IS RAINING, IT IS POURING, THERE IS AN ELDERLY GENLTLEMANEXHIBITING NASAL OBSTRUCTION IN HIS SLEEP, ON HIS WAY TO BED HE HAD BUMPED HIS HEAD, NOW HE IS NOT ALLOWED UP AND ABOUT DUE TO CONCUSSION PROTOCOLS.

Rainy days sure are boring.

I taught this to the kids I nanny just yesterday :)
