40 some years ago when I started collecting comic books, I came up with my own characters with unique powers

MAD Magazine invented an umbrella with a locking loop in the handle. Saturday Night parodied a disposable shaver with 3 blades instead of just two. Both these products were eventually marketed to the public. For real.

go back and watch the original star trek series. Were they prophetic or did people think “good idea, let’s make that”.

My brain invented a device on a TV that let you watch your favorite show whenever you wanted to, 20 years before it was sold in stores.
