My father had a TV repair shop back in the 60s when TVs weighed a ton. We hated having to haul customer’s TVs into the shop, especially when they lived in a 3 or 4 story walk-up.
This brings back pleasant memories of my family’s first color TV, a Sylvania 25" console, in 1969. We would sit for hours watching WHATEVER was on one of our three channels mesmerized by the vibrant and true to life colors. It was truly a quantum leap forward.

It is worth $5 to have someone else to do it. Time to buy another lighter weight TV.
