That’s what pork sausage is: ground hog.

A woodchuck also called groundhog. The males do that only at the end of Winter. When there is food to be had he wakes up the female. If not he goes back to sleep for weeks more.

Has anyone seen the first episode of Resident Alien yet? Quite entertaining.
