I much prefer baked tilapia, save the deep frying for the cod.

And since that day many people have claimed that NTSC stands for: Never The Same Color

The drawing looks a little odd today … was there a guest artist?

Two party themes that blend together nicely. Whether you think yours do or not just pop the corks and pull the tabs.

Maureen Dowd reminds us that reporters are going to be a nuisance for Democrats, that’s their job. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/27/opinion/sunday/democrats-media-tanden.html

Now you can watch the screaming racist dictator loving republican convention in color! And the Nazi symbol on the stage stands out so well on the TV.

As in most historical events (at least the minor ones), the details of the first color TV set in the US are in some dispute. Especially the brand of TV – Westinghouse or RCA for example.

Nothing more refreshing than a happy-go-lucky throwaway apolitical joke in the fresh air and sunshine with two characters from some other comic we’ve never seen before.

(I’m celebrating Floral Design Day AND Tooth Fairy Day, because I’m an efficient multi-tasker, and it helps kill time while I wait for the Feast of Goibnu.)

I remember the first Color TV I ever saw. It was at a neighbor’s house and they invited the whole street in to watch something on NBC – mostly to see the peacock. My six-year old self was dazzled. Hard to believe that happened seven or eight decades ago. I can’t remember the first time I had tartar sauce. But at my age, I often can’t remember what I had for breakfast.
