Happened to me. I was stationed in Hawaii and didn’t know about the time problem. I was at an eatery and heard the news about the football game final score. I went back to the barracks and announced what I had heard. Turns out they were watching the game at that moment. The news was current, but the games were delayed broadcast. I never opened my mouth again about any sporting event.
