Dems have the house senate and presidency, some things will get done. Anti progress republicans will of course object to everything because they obviously hate the USA for not making them dictators.
After the Trump disaster maybe more people will be inclined to rely on truth and facts, to listen to science and to be aware of the need for reform to bring fairness into play.
Republicans had no intentions of working with Democrats, no matter who won the election. Their partisan indignation over the Democrats having the audacity to punish Trump for attempting a coup and getting people killed in the process is only their latest cover story.
Only a stretch because of the elephant making the comment – GOP has a choice: continue to side with the elected obstructionists or move forward without them.
