Badmouthing the party is fine. Trying to destroy freedom and democracy… that’s another story. Are you honestly telling me that you don’t value freedom and democracy above all else? “free speech” is more important than both of them?

Payne, of course, has “no knowledge” of the legislators, including Republicans*, that are afraid that if they vote the “wrong way” on impeachment, they will be assassinated and their families killed.

Of course, even if Payne, or any other Trump Disciples did know that, they would dismiss it as ‘just politics’.

    Because patriotism, law&order, personal responsibility.

When you create an account with these social network sites you agree to abide by their rules and requirements. Failure to follow those rules would/could lead to cancelling your account. The First Amendment has nothing to do with it.

It is a bit scary. I understand banning someone who incites to riot, but not a whole group of people who happen to have opposing voices. It’s a slippery slope, and It does worry me. And no, I’m not a right-wing conservative, but I do support freedom of speech, even if I don’t agree with what one is saying.

Henry Payne must be a little too fond of the drink, like his mentor uncle Joe. His McCarthy mentality has him seeing illusions everywhere these days. Perhaps he should consider joining tRupmbots Anonymous.

This is even more stupid than the usual Henry drivel. Parler can always create their own platform, if they can’t abide by the TOS of others.

Next thing you know, Payne will be saying that Apple and Amazon have to host Jihadi and Nazi platforms. Parler is no different.

Some Russian last names, like mine, end in -sky, as do Polish names. However, other common endings are -in and especially -ov. The emphasis here on -ski made me think at first that tech companies were being compared to Poles. And the uniforms look like Nazi uniforms even though the companies are being compared to Soviet secret police, I think.

Snowflake whines about inability of GOP to yell fire in crowded theatre. Or, is that more like set fire to a crowded theatre? I’m confused as to the messaging.

    From Jim Wright:

    .

“I can’t be a juror who convicts the mob boss because then a bunch of thugs will come to my house and kill me and murder my family” seems like it might not be the statement of unity and healing Republican Senators think it is.

At least Payne (I assume, accidentally) drew the guy using Parler as a caricature of Hitler.

Accidental truth is the only truth we’re ever going to get from Payne.

Bad mouthing the Party? Hasn’t that been the job of Don and Mitch for all these years? Or was that wrecking the party? And Henry, in the ‘good old days’ of Comrade Lenin, insurrection was put down. Swiftly……violently and lesser criminals went to the Gulags. Just a minor difference.

Some of my tech-working friends have now had a look at Parler. A few things to know:

Their code was trash. Thrown together without much if any effort to fulfill their promise of privacy. But it gets worse:

When Amazon threw them off AWS, they left all the supposedly private data, as well as all the posts, out in the open. It has now been copied into several other locations.

Many of the “influencers” had given them their SSNs as well as good facial photos.

So you support taking away legal protections for the content on social media sites, then you complain when those same sites decide to prevent lies and calls to violence from appearing on those sites in order to protect themselves from potential legal liability.

Are you really that stupid? Or just wholly dishonest?
