I’m thinking that many readers of this strip have similar sentiments.

Good strip. We can always find positive from any bleak situation. Nonetheless I hope for a better 2021 than 2020. Like the point about saving gasoline, I think the only time I any real miles on my car has been taking my daughter to and from university up in Tallahassee and have actually saved some money on food overall with planed trips to the Publix and only getting delivery or take out from time to time. Definitely have had a lot of quality time with my felines as well.

In Japan, you can get almost anywhere by streetcar, train, subway or bus. Gas is expensive, but what’s going to kill car owners are the parking fees (most apartment complexes only have spaces for 5-6 cars, max. Everyone else has to use pay lots.)

Hopefully you can also say you’ve had time to work on more LAY LINES strips for your anxiously awaiting fans…?

Does the cat like the concertina or is it trying to put a stop to the high harmonics that humans can’t hear and drive cats crazy?

I fixed everything in my house that was broken, got a new truck just before the pandemic. It only has 2500 miles on it. I have read a lot of the books I have been too busy to read, I got back in touch with a good friend.

Carol, everything in your strip is a dead ringer for how my 2020 was, except for the bananas.

Same here being a natural loner the Pandemic barely caused a ripple in my life. Except having to go out for food and occasional doctor.

Oh and I write mostly fiction every day and comment at gocomics.

I had to have dental surgery last year. Entering their office was like passing through a decontamination chamber. It was incredibly reassuring.

Take it from someone who knows… As long as you have a cat, you are never truly alone.
