Many, many, many years ago I won a free ticket to the local preview of Star Trek: Voyage Home. What I didn’t know was that it was also the showing for the Regional Star Trek Fans organization. I was one in a tiny minority not dressed in some sort of costume. I was bemused & a small bit afraid. I did interact with some. Their intensity was une soupçon overwhelming….in a good way.
