Errrmmmm, Mr. Lester, there is no conservatism left in the GOP. It left in bits and pieces over the last four years. What remain of the so-called Republican party are dixiecrats, picked up during the southern strategy.

You voted for and supported tRump when Russians posted bounties on American troops and he did nothing. You defended him when he dismissed US intelligence assessments in favor of Vladimir Putin’s assurances. You refused to condemn him when Russian hackers infiltrated the agency responsible for safeguarding the US nuclear arsenal and he looked the other way. You cheered on the failed seditious coup. You once again exploded the debt and deficit.

You squandered every bit of credibility and moral authority you had on a grifter, a con-man, and a charlatan. Why should anyone care what you have to say about anything ever again?"

    conservatives? more like cucks.

Actual conservatism is fine. And welcomed, at least by me.

Real conservatives accept election results, know that climate change is real, understand the effects of trickle down, and most importantly, do not LIE in order to state their case.

    .

The so-called “conservatives” which Trump Disciples like Lester like to call themselves, are just the opposite.

They refuse to accept election results when they don’t like the outcome and LIE CONTINUOUSLY, claiming widespread undetectable voting fraud.

They LIE about climate change and claim it is a Chinese hoax.

They continuously LIE about tax cuts, that the benefits given to billionaires will somehow be reinvested into the economy instead of squirreled away in offshore accounts.

    .

This is in addition to their expectation and approval of massive corruption, cruelty, and Treason, and, most importantly, LYING CONTINUOUSLY about everything.

    .

It ain’t conservatism that is the problem. It is the constant LYING.

Conservativism stands for taking from the poor and giving to the rich, reversing equal human rights, and let the free market ruin the environment in the name of profit. So, by all means keep that shirt so we all know where you stand.

Oh Mike. Does anyone really buy the idea that the once GOP has anything to do with conservatism?

Conservative is yet another word that “they” have stolen from us. Remember when “gay” was just happy? Remember when “literally” was just actually? Remember when “black” was a color, not part of a political statement? Remember when being “conservative” meant that you wanted to balance the budget, maintain a respect for the best of where we came from, and look out for the rights of the individual?

Nothing wrong with Conservatism, per se, Mike. Indeed, we need balance in our politics.

It’s what the Right and Trump have made it into. It does not resemble the Conservatism of Theodore Roosevelt or even William F. Buckley. They would be rolling in their graves at the selfishness, the “in your face” tactics, the duplicity and the bigotry.
