Why did they stop calling them “saber-toothed tigers” and start calling them “saber-toothed cats”? I mean, besides the fact that they were cats and not tigers?
Mine’s only needle-toothed, but he brought me a gift of a fat mouse right at bedtime last night. I was already in bed. By the time I got pants and slippers on to take the carcass out, my wife had handled it.
