Seems to me that the solution is to control your freakin’ dog!
You could leave him home when you shop for a tree.
A little tinkle on the tree won’t harm it.. its the lumps you step in that bothers folk
Then why do you bother bringing him along, dummy?
Trees, fire hydrants, any vertical surface will do.
He’s showing you which ones you shouldn’t buy… ☺
They should have a sectioned off area for special guests.
