Blonde is just a spring chicken. Nancy DeGroot is at least 75 and she still looks better than Blondie.

Well, if you want to be technical…..Blondie was first published in 1930, but how old was the character then? She was a suburban housewife. So maybe she was 30? That would mean she was born in 1900. It is now 2021. You do the math. LOL

Comic strip characters do not age in the same way that humans do.

“Blondie” started 90 years ago and she was about 20 then, so she’s more like 110 than 63!

She still has it…..

So now, she’d be like 103.

Thirteen year olds in the early ’90’s aspired to look like a 1930’s style cartoon? Blondie looked so much like she was from another era that I’d think she would have seemed utterly alien to Luann and Bernice.

Blondie Bumstead nee Boopadoop. Was hot all right, BUT COME ON!!! Daisy Mae, Moonbeam McSwine, Appassionata Von Climax, Stupefyin’ Jones… any of the Al Capp strips of the Frank Frazetta years.
