“I thought she was sexy?” Uhhh … was that a faint spark of critical thinking?

O.K., I give up on Breezy, and Baby FireBall, and R.J., and Sopapilla, and even TNT.

If, like most ideas, the idea of them never enters Rip’s mind, why should I be concerned about them?

Instead, let’s focus on the issue at hand and whether Cobra or May-Bee will come out on top with Rip.

I’ll give Cobra the inside track because she is an old pal of ours and Brainzo said she was Rip’s true love.

However, Rip had not yet met May-Bee when Brainzo scanned Rip’s mind, and May-Bee is not motivated by Cobra’s naked cupidity but simply desperate to keep her livelihood literally afloat. I’d say May-Bee has the edge there.

… or this could just be an illusion the squid-like extra-terrestrial created. Then it’s kind of a reboot again…

I’ve heard of a glass jaw, but a glass noggin? I thought Rip was made of sterner stuff.

Ohhh, “She’s gone straight up mercenary” – that is a line I have to figure out how to use in my regular life.

I can think of two reasons Rip thought she was sexy, and her being mercenary isn’t one of them.
