I lost interest in Star Wars when #3 (in release order) made a good-guy out of Darth Vader, mass-murderer on a planetary scale. As for the next three movies, can you imagine someone making a movie (let alone three) about Adolf Hitler’s tortured teenage years?
I don’t get this. Why is he giving her that look? They’ve obviously seen this movie before, she’s not spoiling it for him… why the look? Is it because she hates to see Darth Vader die?
Confused also. Because she feels sorry for the guy that killed 100’s of Jedi ? Maybe ? But this is his sympathy scene. You’re supposed to feel sorry for how he (Vader) was betrayed and abused by Palpatine.
The DEATH of Darth Vader at the rebirth of Anakin makes her cry. There either definitely needs a follow up question as to why or, understand that she is a Darth Vader groupie and let it be….
She shouldn’t be upset — before he dies, he’s redeemed. And at the end of the movie, he’s clearly in a better place (in whatever spiritual realm exists in their galaxy). Bonus: over time, his spirit will get younger.
