You know, Teddy, Bernie Sanders is older than Joe Biden, and had a heart attack last year. But even the lowest of the low among alt-right cartoonists wouldn’t draw him this way. Congratulations on doing something I thought impossible: being a professional cartoonist who makes Branco and Stiglich look tasteful.
Yes, McConnell was re-elected and has enough power to be an obstruction to Biden. What more can anyone say? I guess for some people it really sucks to live in this country, or they can’t stand our system of government, or perhaps is just too difficult to live with their fellow citizens who are so inferior to bear.
Ted, it’s not “missing the subtleties” when it’s impossible to tell what you even mean. This is no different than Scott Adams claiming “It was satire you didn’t get!” when he literally said “Women are like retarded children.” It wasn’t sarcasm when Trump said to inject bleach.Just found your own Rallism cult and learn to DRAW. I was just a watching a video about Nina Bahinskaya, a 73yo great-grandmother who has become a symbol of resistance to Lukashenko, whom she (probably correctly) calls a psychopath.
She looks like she’s probably around 5’-5’3", is very energetic, and is mentally sharp as a scalpel. She’s very clear about what it will take to get Lukashenko out of power: constant, active resistance by everyone.
One of the video clips shows her at a demo kicking an armored-up 6’6" riot cop in the shins for taking her old (superseded-old, not shabby-old) Belarus flag away from her (it’s a criminal offence to display it because it too is a symbol of the resistance). The cop was actually quite forbearing, which surprised me —he just gently pushed her away before walking away with her flag.
But another clip, which seems relevant here, shows a woman saying (paraphrased) “This is idiotic, you all find some half-mad old babushka and follow her! Who would replace Lukanshenko? He’s all we have, and we need him. It’s crazy to protest against him like this!”
Progressives responded with incredulous indignation Wednesday after President-elect Joe Biden said he is considering tapping Republicans for his Cabinet, while claiming that there is a “significant” progressive presence in his nascent administration.
Biden’s remarks came during a Tuesday interview with NBC News, the president-elect’s first since winning the election, in which he acknowledged he is considering Republicans—even people who supported President Donald Trump—for positions in his administration.
“We still have a lot more appointments to make,” said Biden. “I want this country to be united.”
When asked if he has spoken with progressive Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) or Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) about possible Cabinet nominations, Biden then said that “we already have significant representation of progressives in our administration, but nothing is off the table.”

Whoa. It’s kind of hard to tell if Rall needs an intervention… because his work has always been pretty extreme. But wow.

It seems some people are missing the point of the cartoon. Cartoonists often use hyperbole and exaggeration.
