By pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq, Trump is fulfilling a promise to someone. Probably Putin who gets more gifts from Trump than Melania does. You can bet there is money for Trump’s debts involved somewhere in all of this.

Obama wanted to withdraw from Afghanistan but the republican senate did not allow it.

Obama would defer to the incoming President-elect so close to his inauguration, instead of setting fires and obstructing his transition team. In short, Obama would behave as a reasonable adult.

Trump believes in, “What ever Obama would have done, do the opposite.”

Ramirez is right; it’s high time for America to pull all its military forces out of Iran.

So, Ramirez, do you discuss whether or not that is a good thing? Not on your life, because if were a good thing, the question that should be raised is “Why didn’t he do it four years ago?” But you won’t raise that question because it that would bring DJT the aproprobriaton you and he richly deserve. Go back to cartooning 101 you need a remedial course.

I’m foolishly thinking about democratic processes versus thuggish leaders in our own country. I guess it is less important to you.

Lets refresh everyone’s memory. The Iraq withdrawal agreement and timeline for Iraq was signed in 2007 by Bush. Obama maintained the agreed upon timeline and failed to get troop presence extended cause the demands by the Iraqi government for legal jurisdiction over US military was too steep. So lets not pretend the current draw down of US forces in Afghanistan is anything like the Iraq withdrawal. It isn’t; since this withdrawal is happening regardless whether the Afghan government wants us to stay or go. Congressional warhawks and defense contractors want us to stay more than the Afghan government does.“What would Obama do?” Reduce the number of troops in the same manner he did during his second term. Duh.

It doesn’t amount to anything. The military is so slow, that they will still be there on Jan 20th and the order can be easily cancelled.

I’d love to let them all just fester in their own boil… but some of them are seriously armed and MOST of them are as crazy as our very own orange mistake… and they ALL hate the USA…

Everybody knew the terrorists were in Afghanistan and Pakistan and yet Bush invaded Iraq. If he was driving and we were on a road trip from Washington DC to California we’d probably end up someplace in Alberta. The bottom line is even with an atlas or GPS republicans can’t read or follow a map.
