Sure, it would have been so much better to just have voted Trump in for a second term. Biden is in no way perfect, but he happened to win the Dem primary. He wasn’t my choice — I was supporting Bernie, but he is many, many times a better choice than Trump. And BTW, re the wars in Afghanistan, etc., any president, even though very powerful on his own, and even though technically “Commander in Chief,” is going to run up against the “Military – Industrial Complex,” which runs on a certain amount of inertia. I do not see Biden as a warmonger, even though he may have made errors in the past about going to war. (See 9/11, Iraq, etc.)
Let’s see of I’m interpreting this right: Biden will enthusiastically target Middle Eastern school girls to be killed with drone strikes, and then gloat about it afterwards. What on earth were Americans thinking when they voted for such a monster?!
And I suppose if Bernie had been elected, all the wars would magically stop on inauguration day. It’s awful that drones kill civilians – newsflash – civilians have been casualties of war since wars began. it didn’t start with drones. Do you think a bomb dropped from an aircraft somehow misses civilians? Do you believe that no innocent person has ever been hit by a bullet?
President Obama was the man who brought drone strikes to their all time peak. One of the few things he did that I wholeheartedly supported and endorsed.
My father was an artist. He worked as an animator for Walter Lance, Walt Disney, and Fleischer’s. I inherited absolutely none of his talent. But I can draw as well as Rall. Then again, his artwork reflects his politics—childish and unappealing.
