I saw a shooting star on my way to work the other night

I wished my shift was over and I was driving home instead

My wish did not come true

I mean, their owners clearly haven’t learned yet that leaving such things out on the counter is probably not wise, so…I’d argue that could still be a wish fulfilled, in a way. ;)

Helicopter.

Just another satellite fallin’ out of orbit. Then the wish would be “I wish it would fall somewhere else”.

One Christmas Eve I convinced a couple younger cousins that the flashing red light on a radio tower was Rudolph.

With two dogs, we are not dumb enough to leave sausage on the counter.
