“Much ado about Nothing?”

Good Grief! Wear a mask and practice social distancing. The US keeps breaking daily records for Covid19 cases: over 100,000 cases each of the last five days. We absolutely need to get this pandemic under control. We need to find, test, trace and isolate. And most of all we need people to take it seriously.

Polls only matter to people that believe them.

Was there a PIN THE TAIL game on Trump’s backside to predict his losing? I missed that cartoon.

This theme is done. Let it rest.

Math doesn’t lie, however people responding to the pollsters, do.

In all the talk about how off the polls have been, I haven’t seen or heard anyone approach the possibility that some folks simply like to mess with the numbers by giving false answers or concealing their true colors, also known as lying. That could be part of the problem with current day polling.

It should be a Federal project (like rural electrification was) to get broadband to everyone across the country so people will have choices about what they listen to, rather than “conservative” hate mongering being all that’s available. It’s urgent. We have only gotten a 4-year reprieve. The underlying problems are NOT solved.

After reading the archive of Al’s work, I think I’m going to coin a new term to use:

Goodwyn’s law: The refutation of reality by using “facts” garnered from an alternative universe.
