Hubby and I saw 2 deer out for a run while we lived in New Jersey. They didn’t even see us as they ran past us, sounding like 2 racehorses in a tight race rounding that last turn.
It was Autumn, so they’re minds were … Ah, on something else.
Dont bother Deer. This species need to do extra exercise to stay fit. The Gumbos are having a whale of a time in the midst of beautiful scenic nature and an overseeing herbivore. That’s very peaceful.

If they are like the deer around here, they plan on stopping to forage in our yard.

If they thought to plant some Garlic, Onions and Jalapenos along the running trail, they might forage more often.
