Our American experiment in ‘Democracy’ is not as advanced as we thought it was! We are far from being that “Shining City on the Hill!”

I am stunned that so many of my fellow Americans support this cheating, lying, person who has no policies, no platform (other than himself), who will do away with healthcare for millions, who only seeks to exploit his position to benefit himself, his family, and cronies at the cost to the rest of the nation. The blood of 200,00 of our citizens are on his hands because of his refusal to take reasonable actions to stop the virus, instead calling it a democrat HOAX! Lying, lying, lying every day about everything. How can so many vote for him?

There are so very many things that can be laid at Il Douche’s feet.

But what does it say about the American people if we refuse to fire the worst employee America ever had?

I consider myself privileged to have been born in the USA and have lived a comfortable life. I have ancestors and relatives that bore arms in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea and I served during the Vietnam conflict. I’ve considered that as the tap root in my sense of who I am as an American. At the same time I feel weighed down with shame that the image above is just so true and that damn near 50% of my fellow Americans would be willing to celebrate and applaud a creature that would perpetuate such a step backward in our pursuit of “a more perfect Union”.

Actually, that should be “Make America 1920 Again”, because, thanks to the GOP, we’re at 1929, economically-speaking….

I could at least have some respect for supporters of Trump and the Republican party if they’d simply stop the “conservative, Christian patriot” bullshit and own their preference for fascism. Say it loud and say it proud. They don’t support the democratic process, they don’t support the rule of law, and they want a leader with the absolute power to ram through white nationalist agendas – Constitution be damned. Owning that would bring me to say “fine” – just own it and run with it honestly.

Great, but sad, toon today Mr. Britt. Gee if only there was a way to affect change FOR the people… Oh right, major democracy fail. Again, if a democrat had done anything like what the rump has done, those hypocritical right wing aholes would have been calling for thir head.

I heard this saying quite a bit when I was a kid. " If you ain’t white, you ain’t right". It sure seems that 69 million people feel this way. America has a long road to travel!
