Where’s a working “Constitution” class ship when you need one ;) This enterprise is obvious malfunctioning. Perhaps this ship was doomed to failure, given the “T” series prototype that was, until recently operating the ship. Perhaps a new crew and captain can get the whole Gov Trek back on course. This isn’t a snake that you can just cut the head from, and it will expire. This has transmogrified into a hydra… and we aren’t talking Marvel Comics here, this is reality. Fanaticism is as deeply rooted in the USA as anywhere else, and Jan. 6th showed a glimmer of how ugly it can be. Seriously, these people are so crazed, and ignorant that they were/are threatening the free press while rattling on about “freedom” and all that. They openly threatened murder, both verbally, and in scrawls on doors. They are afraid of “commies”, yet want to do the same things that they profess to be against. In truth, these thugs are going to be a danger for a long time. Dismissing them, now that they have had a taste of rebellion, would be foolhardy indeed.
