I haven’t seen it since it was new. As I recall, something about a good girl goes slutty.

For those who are curious: John Travolta was 24, Olivia Newton-John was 30, and Stockard Channing was 34. Almost all of the high school students were around 30.

This seems inappropriate. “Greased Lighting” is not for kids!

Somehow, movies and TV shows got away with this back then. All the other sweathogs were in their mid-20s too.

A few years ago, someone gave me a Christmas CD of carols sung by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. I’ve tried to share it with friends, but they run away — and suggest how I can play it with my body.

Olivia Newton-John was every boys’ and men’s fantasy. Still is for many……

I can honestly say that I have never seen Grease all the way thru but have heard parts of it hundreds of times. When I was completing an accounting degree and while preparing for the CPA exam my stepdaughter went on a serious Grease binge. She literally watched that dam(n) movie once or twice everyday for months. I could hear it while studying in my basement den. I couldn’t get her to stop because my wife also enjoyed the movie. That was 25 – 30 years ago and to this day I can’t stand the thought of that movie. BTW, she has since apologized to me.

Please don’t subject the kid to that terrible movie at such a young age — or ever.
