We watched most of the “debate”. It was obvious to me that he was playing only to his base. I have no doubt he’ll get a lot of adulation from the right wing cartoonists for how well he did, but the ONLY thing he could have said that would have gotten my positive attention didn’t come up: Peace (of a sort) in the Middle East. I was impressed that he thinks that everybody has a 401K plan… but not favorably impressed.
