This is essentially why there is (and our family uses) https://www.charitynavigator.org/ , http://www.charitywatch.org/ or http://www.guidestar.org/. You would probably be amazed how much some charities, even pretty well respected ones are siphoning much of their proceeds to “overhead”.

Ha! There’s the reality of socialism!

That is most charities, churches, foundations and governments. Seattle spends $120,000 for each homeless person in the city. That money feeds the bureaucrats mostly. Not sure how much help comes by way of the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation…….

One can’t expect those running the charities to live like paupers. They need those fancy clothes.. cars and homes to impress.

Still probably giving more to the poor than the rich guy.

I never would have thought Robin Hood was in trumps gene pool.

Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore, etcetera, etcetera…

If I remember the story correctly, Robin Hood stole from the government and gave it back to the taxpayers.

Nice guy first he robs the guy puts him in the in the streets to beg and he gives him a coin back, it sure looks like the same man.

Harkens back to “When Things Were Rotten”. They robbed the rich, gave to the poor, except what they kept for expenses.
