Haven’t had to scrape my windshield yet, did have to wipe off excess moisture so I see out the rear window. Still too warm to wear coat after 10 AM until three hours after sundown, central east coast New Jersey weather.
I thought that’s what husbands were for was to scrape the windshield for you and then get you some coffee to warm you up after they started the car and got it warm.
Had to scrape a light frost a few days ago, this morning we have a fine cold rain
Hope it helps with the fire in our mountains, its been coming our way so close they have been warning people on the west side of the city about blowing sparks
You guys are so lucky with that kind of weather already!
I’m in Florida, near Tampa. A couple weeks ago, we had a day or two of cool weather (depending on your idea of cool). Highs in the 70s, and it was in the 60s when I went on my morning walk.
I walked to the grocery store, and was shocked at how many people were wearing jackets! Even a full coat on one! Meanwhile, I’m bopping along with my walker, wearing a tshirt and light-weight capris, thinking how comfy I am, and wishing it would stay that cool (it didn’t).
I need to move north, where the weather isn’t trying to roast, boil, or broil me.

Put a hot water bottle behind the windshield and wait for half an hour. The cats wouldn’t stay there.
Or turn on the headlights for a while if they are still halogen and your battery is “full” enough.

Old folks talking about the weather is so cliché.

LOL. “I’m a wild card, Dan”. “Don’t i know it”. Hahah. In MA, it was in the 50s in the house this morning. Dang, had to turn on the heat before 11/1.

I went to high school in Illinois. A guy that lived near me never wore a coat till it got below 30.
