That was me trying to order a pizza last night…

If my call was truly important to you, you’d hire somebody to answer the damn phone.

I believe that every company should be required to route what their customers say while they are on hold to a speaker that sits on the CEO’s desk.

Just not important enough to provide enough staff to answer. After a second half-hour wait on hold, I was told by the IRS that they have my tax re-filing, have had it since April, and have not the absolute, slightest glimmer of an inkling as to when they will get around to processing it.

Of course, I’m welcome to call back.
