I could see in my mind one of those old fashion pumps with the long handles. The type that got you fresh water in the house. So why two? I was wondering. Cold water is easy! So the second one is for Hot??? He lives near a Spring!?!
I’m from 2 generations back. When I was teaching a young lady to drive, I noticed her footwear and advised her it was not wise to wear thongs while driving. She looked very confused and asked why. I said, because they can get caught in the pedals…she looked even more confused and uncomfortable…how was I to know they now call them flip-flops?
