Only one word in the song “Wipeout”, so the ghosts are unlikely to be “singing” that tune, but that is what came to mind when I saw the three guitars and a drum. Roy’s childhood could have used some Gumby-type action, or clay-mation to liven things up.
I made up Birdy when I was a kid, as Patty-Cake’s favorite cartoon character. I was influenced by the birds Schulz had been drawing, even before he named one Woodstock.
To think that I watched “The Banana Splits” regularly when I was a junior in college still makes me wonder why I’ve spent my life watching and doing “goofy stuff” all ,of my life!
I misread “Fardles Bear” when I first looked at it. The bear’s hairstyle does label this as a fine example of the early 1970’s (which is about when I stopped watching cartoons!).

No idea who any of the characters are. They’re either before my time or way after. Most likely the latter (I’m 74).

The fact that I knew this was a put-on with invented cartoon history makes me deeply sad about how much life I’ve devoted to TV.

There really is a Craig Clementz though. Several of them in fact. But no Birdy.
I can see a kid in the 60’s or 70’s drawing these guys as his own cartoon lineup though, cool.

The character with the red nose reminds me of Droopy Dog.
