Once upon a time, we had 8 cats for a while, and at least 2 of them could walk thru walls, another one could disappear completely. Now we have just one. It took her years to master, but she has now learned how to completely disappear as well. Creepy. I should have stayed content with a dog.
“The Cat Who Walks Through Walls” is a science fiction novel by Robert Heinlein (1985). Pixel is the cat and when asked why the cat walks through walls, the narrator replies “Because she is too young to know that such behavior is impossible.”

Could just be that I’ve forgotten, but I can’t recall any half cats by Escher or Dali.
Tenniel drew the Cheshire cat slowly disappearing…
but he stayed whole, till he faded away, mouth last.
Looks to me like these cats found a box of holes in the attic…
Roger Rabbit-type stick-on, movable holes.

Just one of the inconveniences that comes with the territory of having a portal to a parallel universe in your living room.

After all, half a cat is better than none.
