I learned more from Chilton and Haynes than any other source back in the day. Got my first car in 1970 when I was 16. 1966 Ford Galaxy 500 with a V8 289. Standard transmission, no a/c. Except for the a/c part, I wish I still had it. I’d probably be out in the driveway working on it every day now, too. :-)

Hm. The meteorologist did call for an infection-free day with a possible chance of thin wire nose ring.

Wow. Since the car arrived lo-o-o-ong ago, this is, what, the third time working on it? And with employment at an auto parts store? The natural point of giving up would likely have been when the emotional loss of money spent on parts exceeded any perceived enjoyment owning it; not likely anything mechanical unless it’s rusted parts breaking off. I think this is the authors’ way of getting rid of it.

I rebuilt 3 cars in H. S., I feel your pain, Baldo, but on the other hand it was probably more fun than rebuilding the same car 3 times.
