When Trump wanted the best health care money can buy, he did NOT go to a private, for-profit medical facility, he went to a government-run socialized medicine facility.
He got the best health care money can buy, but it is not HIS money, since he does not pay taxes, it is OUR tax money, while he has a lawsuit before the Supreme Court right now, trying hard to take away health care for millions of the rest of us, and leave everyone else subject to denial of care because of pre-existing conditions.
We are the ones paying for his health care — but it is health care not available to any of the rest of us.
Yep. They have very consistent behavior, and that behavior includes lying, distortion, cheating, denying rights, illegal detention and all sorts of things that are on the negative side of the moral balance. The Mango Mistake adds sociopathic narcissism to the list (not that others don’t have that, but his is the bestliest).
After accepting health care that every day folks paid for, he left the hospital, telling people not to be afraid of COVID-19 or let it control their lives (in other words, if you feel sick, don’t go to a doctor. Just ‘tough it out’ and die, so you leave those tax dollars to pay for His Dishonor’s care when he relapses…)
Trump actually looked on his stay at Walter Reed as an incarceration – as long as he was there he felt constrained – it was not his choice to be there and he has always viewed being in hospital as a sign of weakness.
Trump has always been in total control of all facets of his life and the fact that he appeared to not be in control was anathema to him. The display on the Truman balcony was extremely telling – he was clearly having trouble breathing after climbing the stairway and there was a decided “wobble” to his stance once he got there. (and the removal of the mask was pure theatrics and and also completely stupid in that it demonstrated his complete disregard for the White House staff, to boot!)
Trump was high on the steroids the gave him – they mask your feelings – I’ve no doubt he felt great (better than he has in 20 years) but that won’t last – he will come down off his steroid high unless they maintain dosing him – he needs to have a long “heart-to-heart” with his buddy, Rush, about the dangers of addiction – the particular steroid he’s on has side-effects of mental instability and since Trump is already unstable…
Man, I hate sounding like a conspiracy theorist, but I still have this nagging feeling that Trump doesn’t have Covid. He’s using it as a distraction from the NYT report on his taxes, his poor debate performance, the Melania tapes, etc. Of course, that would imply that a lot of people at Walter Reed and the White House would be in on it as well so it isn’t very plausible, but still I wouldn’t put it past him.
The official name is “Walter Reed National MILITARY Medical Center”. (Emphasis added) I wonder if the “suckers and losers” who work there took an X-ray of the famous bone spur that kept him from serving in Vietnam…
IF the staff at Walter Reid X-rayed those feet, found no bone spur, and that fact finds its way into the public sphere, then I predict that FAKE X-RAY/FAKE STAFF/FAKE HOSPITAL/PRIVATIZE THE VA IMMEDIATELY tweet storms will be imminent, and he’ll also be shouting it at enemy-of-the-people media over the roar of helicopter engines/rotors for the rest of the month, even if the sound has to be played through speaker systems inside the White House..
… and despite his protestations that have denied others medical approaches based upon fetal stem cell work, in the White House before his hospitalization Donald Trump used a medication that does have such origins. (BTW, with this company as with the others those fetal stem cells are from human blastulas, very early human fetuses, that otherwise would have been tossed.)
The stem cells most commonly used at Regeneron are mouse embryonic stem cells and human blood stem cells. Currently, there are limited research efforts employing human-induced pluripotent stem cell lines derived from adult human cells and human embryonic stem cells that are approved for research use by the National Institutes of Health and created solely through in vitro fertilization.
Denying peopole health care and totally losing interest in public and economic welfare. Too hard, boooooring, and besides, Dems will claim part of the credit. Can’t have that, better millions of evictions and general hunger. . . .

Had he been just a regular unemployed citizen without health insurance he would have only a few days to live. Wishing he had worn a mask. Sad.

Now more than ever, I wonder why conservatives are so adamant against abortion. Just saying.

Yeah, forget Medicare For All (free at the point of service), now we can’t even get “affordable” health care.
