Did I miss something? What’s Peter doing there?

Well, we know the old evil Nazi (but I repeat myself) has experience of Olwen when they were both young. He is right to be terrified of how her powers have increased with age and experience. Bwaaaaaaahaaaaaaahaaaaaaaa!

Okay, so did Peter accidentally get left behind? Or did Morbis fail to follow Olwen’s instructions to pack up the wagons and leave? Or did Peter, seeing that something is going on come snooping?

How much time has passed? I mean, for us it’s been two looooong months. For Salem and Hickory it could be just a few minutes or at most a few hours. Remember that Olwen told her to open the portal after exactly 12 hours so less than 12 have passed. If Peter has just been walking around a bit, it could be that just a few minutes have passed.

Sounds like Wigglesworth’s family will soon learn to quake with fear over an old woman.

And I’m guessing it has only been a few minutes since Morbis headed back to camp to pack up. Peter was probably on an outing with his rock friend.

How many brothers did he have? Winnie took care of a relative or three.

This arc about Wigglesworth is reminding me of the tale of the Welsh prince Madoc – and also the book A Swiftly Tilting Planet by Madeleine L’Engle. Or am I imagining things?
