His rich buddies have raked in enough loot for the year, so those rakes are no longer needed. Oh, and you’ll be billed later.

Equivalent to tossing paper towels in PR. Talk about a clueless or willfully ignorant individual.

Sweeping the forest floors is going to stop wildfires? He doesn’t realize that much if not most of the land that is burning is federal land. Let him use the same broom he uses to sweep all his other mistakes, lies and scandals under the rug.

Trump fantasizes conversations with all sorts of people – this particular conversation took place between Trump and an unnamed European leader about how that leader handled the “problem” of “cluttered” forest floors. The suggestion of “cleaning” the forest floor is a good one but Trump needs to realize a couple of “things”.

The first is that America is orders of magnitude larger than ANY European nation and, secondly, there needs to be an established infrastructure in place to deal with the problem, as well as a unified plan to which all parties agreed, beforehand!

The likelihood of this occurring? Do you enjoy dealing with imaginary negative numbers?

I’ve no facts and figures for this year, but the last great mass of forest fires occurred on federal lands, so it would be up to Trump to clean his own area up first, I would think.

Well, rakes won’t do it but more, larger and complete prescriptive burns, reducing the fuel laddder and better forest management in general would be a big help.

The feds own most of the forests, when are they going to rake and clean them?

This piece of garbage should be playing the Lyre instead of tossing out rakes. I thought my TV SCREEN was going to puke when he came on tv giving Californians conservation lessons.

What if we build some giant vacuum cleaners and just suck up all that nasty from the forest floor? Could we drop a nuke on the fire? Would that work? We could drop clorox on the fires…put out the flames and get that nasty virus, too. I got so many great ideas, it’s a wonder I’m not presidint?

He’ll be down on the Gulf coast soon to toss out paper towels to help the people mop up from record flooding!

If you tell him it is federal land his reply will be, “Sell it all to private companies at ‘fire sale’ prices but don’t tax their profits when they harvest the trees.”
