There’s a line between “keeping the house looking good” and leaving old cans and pizza boxes everywhere, and not bagging up and taking out the trash. No excuse for the latter.
As for Aunty, I doubt she could attain a rating of “looking good” even if she had three maids and a butler!
I have housekeepers come every 2 weeks. I’m the neat one in the house but I have no energy, so hubby makes certain we have housekeeping regularly. He’s not a slob, just a clutterbug.
