Far be it from me to defend the lying, duplicitous, terror-supporting religious tyrannical theocrats running Iran, but let’s get the facts straight:

In 1953, Iran had a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED secular president, Mohammad Mossadegh. He was modernizing his country. But he would not accede to the terms the Republican Eisenhower administration wanted for the sale of their oil (that the U.S. imperialists somehow felt entitled to), so they had him overthrown and replaced with a brutal dictator, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

Pahlavi was friendly to the U.S. that had placed him on the Peacock Throne, but was brutal to his people, who rightly harbored resentments towards the U.S. for toppling their DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED secular president.

In 1979, the people of Iran finally overthrew the Shah, under the leadership of the religious theocrat Ayatollah Khomeini, who was succeeded by the current “supreme leader” Ayatollah Khamenei.

The Islamic Republic was hostile to the U.S., but eventually the Obama administration was able to orchestrate a brilliant SEVEN NATION international Iran nuclear treaty (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA] comprised of U.K., France, Germany, China, Russia, U.S. and Iran) to prevent nuclearizing of Iran.

WE WERE AT PEACE. IRAN WAS UNDER CONTROL.

Then Trump came along, blew up the treaty, of which REPUBLICANS had obstructed ratification, treated Iran with bellicosity and belligerence and, surprise! surprise! now we are teetering on the brink of war.

The Iranian government is not an honorable actor in the region.

But at this time, it is TRUMP who has made the U.S. the rogue nation.

It is TRUMP, the belligerent bomb thrower, who has caused Iran to become a threat once again.

If this is referencing the explosion in Beirut, it was not an intentional act of terror, just a massive screw up by the authorities. Where we need to be concerned with Iran is over the fact that, since Trump destroyed the multinational agreement that shut down the nuclear bomb program, they have been moving full steam ahead with Uranium enrichment. It’s probably too late to fix the damage Don the Con has done, even if Biden does win.

Because, even though we have tried to cripple their economy and hurt ALL their people (not just the government), and there is yet no evidence of plans to wage nuclear war, Trump REALLY doesn’t like them, that’s why. What do you mean, not good enough? We don’t need you guys; We don’t need anybody because Trump is King and he’s magic, and always right…

Sloppy, sloppy science Ramirez! By the time the explosion has reached the stage shown, the prompt radiation has killed everyone in the UN building. And the blast wave will have rendered it mere ruins. But then what can you expect from a conservative cartoonist? Certainly no knowledge of science. Just nonsense.

This is a pathetic attempt to instill fear. It was pathetic when Trump and Pompeo drew it up and it continues to be so. Why not put that threat down to North Korea, Mr. Ramirez? It’s just as likely.

Trump (enabled by Republicans) showed that his US won’t honor multinational deals and will go back on their word, so Iran went ahead with plans that had been shelved. Who’s to blame here? I’ll give you one guess.

Isn’t Jared working on Peace in The Middle East? Where is Iran these days? Can we make them the 51st State and declare “Mission Accomplished”?

So… Who scuttled the US involvement the (imperfect but functioning) Iranian anti-nuke treaty. [Not a treaty, which Ol’ Punkinhead couldn’t rescind after Senate ratification. Rather this was an agreement which Obama entered into along with other countries, hence it had no force of law in the US. Why is this? Well, the GOP Senate refused to agree with the pact. After all, it was something that Obama favored, so an anathema to Moscow Mitch and ANY and ALL GOP toadies in the GOP Senate.] Thereby this agreement scuttler killed any future influence US might have, both on the actions of the remaining members, and consequences of Iranian anti-nuke treaty violations. Now that the pigeons are coming home to roost on the scuttler’s sanctimonious stupidity, and prepare to **** on his coiffure, he’s thrown a temper tantrum because the other nations won’t pull his fat out of the fire he built and stoked so vociferously and sanction the Iranians. Who could this stupid malefactor possibly be, anyway? (Hint: he’s the so-called US president*)
