I can’t wait for winter to get here! The crush of snow beneath my boot, the swish of the nylon between my legs, the crisp air on my tongue as I try to remember to breathe through my nose! Oh, to be bundled in my parka with that eternal pressure to move onward, move onward, get indoors again before the cold kills me!

Sledding, snow forts, trips to the hospital after ski accidents; what’s not to love about winter?

Nothing like a good slip from a dog laid land mine under some fall leaves.

“I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree”…….

Oops, almost forgot. I love to roll in the leaves.

Maybe when winter comes, the rain will put the fires out and we’ll be able to breathe again.
